SCR changes returned ticket reimbursement regulations

South Caucasus Railway company said Tuesday it would change the regulations related to a returned ticket reimbursement on 1 December.

Yerevan, November 13. /ARKA/. South Caucasus Railway company said Tuesday it would change the regulations related to a returned ticket reimbursement on 1 December.
“No later than 120 hours before the departure of the train passengers will be reimbursed the full ticket cost; 24 to 120 hours before the departure passengers will be reimbursed 85% of ticket cost; 2 to 24 hours before the departure -75%; 2 hours before the departure tickets can not be returned,” according to the source.
Bedclothes and insurance fees will also be refunded to the passengers who returned their tickets.
Passengers will not be reimbursed 600 drams charged for a ticket registration. E-tickets do not require 600-drams registration fee.
The cost of tickets purchased online is refunded in cash at cash offices of CJSC SCR.
“CJSC SCR remains committed to its policy of gradually improving the quality of passenger service, the level of comfort in trains of local and international communication. Accordingly, the railway upgrades the rolling stock, the list of services expands, train speed increases,” the company reports.
South Caucasus Railways, a 100-percent subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway.
Armenian Railways was handed over to the South Caucasus Railways on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years.E.O.-0-
