The event was held ahead of the Railway Worker Day – August 2.
Viktor Rebets, the company CEO, spoke at the reward-handing ceremony.
«We hold such meetings every year on the eve of the Railway Worker Day,» he said. «We invite veterans, whose work creates welfare, a good image and a good attitude toward our staff. On the eve of the holiday we pay tribute to your work expressing appreciation of your efforts and your initiatives.»
Honorably certificates and bonuses were given to the best employees. After the formal ceremony veterans were invited for a tea party.
South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway, which was handed over to the South Caucasus Railway on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years. ---0---
