Survey names best employers in Armenia

YEREVAN, December 14. /ARKA/. A survey conducted in Armenia as part of hyerate (հայrate) initiative that involved young people has identified the most attractive employers of the country.

According to the Grant Thornton Consulting Company, PicsArt company is recognized as the most attractive employer. Coca-Cola, HBC Armenia, Synopsys, Ameriabank, Digitane as well as Titan Service, Central Bank of Armenia, Public TV of Armenia, Grand Holding and Soft Construction are in the top ten.

The initiative jointly realized by the Armenian HR Association and Grant Thornton, was aimed at highlighting employers' attractiveness for young people entering the labor market and enhance brand awareness among students.

The survey involved around 2000 students from leading Armenian universities who were asked to name the most attractive employer, regardless of the field of activity.

More than 200 companies were named and the organizers chose 10 companies, which received most of the votes. The awarding ceremony was held on December 10.

During the event, representatives of many participating organizations welcomed the initiative, which is used in international best practices.

Representatives of universities present at the ceremony emphasized the need to strengthen the relationship between students and employers, stressing the importance of the "hye-rate" initiative as an effective means of communication.

The heads of Grant Thornton and the Armenian HR Association said they will continue the initiative after the pilot phase, inviting other organizations to join it. -0-
