Vardan Aloyan was appointed new head of Public Relations Department of the South Caucasus Railway (SCR), a Russian company operating Armenia’s railroads. He will serve also as press secretary for SCR’s CEO.

YEREVAN, January 21. / ARKA /. Vardan Aloyan was appointed new head of Public Relations Department of the South Caucasus Railway (SCR), a Russian company operating Armenia’s railroads. He will serve also as press secretary for SCR’s CEO.

Vardan Aloyan was born in 1956. He graduated from the Moscow-based Institute of Literature. From 1981 to 2004 he worked for newspapers "Communist", "Komsomolskaya Pravda" and "The Republic of Armenia."

In 2004 -2014 he worked as CEO and deputy CEO of PanArmenian Publishing House.

The South Caucasus Railways is run by Russian Railways. The concessional agreement was concluded in 2008 for 30 years, with a right of extension for another 20 years after the first 20 years of operation. -0-
