Yerevan chocolate factory to raise output to 2.4 billion drams

The Yerevan Chocolate Factory's output this year will reach about 2.4 billion drams, 40% of which will have been exported, top managers of the company told economy minister Tigran Khachatryan, who visited the factory today.
YEREVAN, December 9. /ARКА/. The Yerevan Chocolate Factory's output this year will reach about 2.4 billion drams, 40% of which will have been exported, top managers of the company told economy minister Tigran Khachatryan, who visited the factory today.
The founder of the company, Sos Sahakyan, told the minister that compared to the first 11 months of 2018 the output in the same time span of this year increased by 37%, and exports to the Eurasian Economic Union member countries, Ukraine, France, the USA, Israel, Estonia, China and other countries surged by 141 percent.
This year the company has created 65 new jobs and will create another 50 next year to have as many as 290 employees.
The minister and the company's top managers discussed a number of issues related to promotion of Armenia-made products on international markets and enhancing the production capacity of the company. ($1 - 477.97 drams). -0-
