Commision on regulation of public services of Armenia granted licenses to five Armenian companies for the connection of international signaling point
YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. Commission on Regulation of Public Services (CRPS) of Armenia granted licenses to five Armenian companies for the connection of International Signaling Point Code, ISPC on Wednesday. International Union of Electrical-Connection (IUEC) by the agreement with CRPS provides Armenia with ISPC codes for new communication operators in international arena.
Gevorg Gevorgyan, Head of Telecommunication Management of CRPS Armenia informed ARKA that by the provision of new codes the Commission satisfied the needs of the companies “Bionet”, “Complex Dzoraghbyur”, “Netsys’, “Crossnet’ and “Global Coline”. Particularly, “Bionet” was provided by international signaling point code 5-234-2, “Crossnet”- 5-234-3, “Complex Dzoraghbyur” - 5-234-4, “Netsys”- 5-234-5 and “Global Coline” - 5-234-6. “The companies had already non-geographical codes, as well as relevant number capacities and licenses for using the network. Provision of codes ISPC will allow them to perform in full capacity and communication services”, said Gevorgyan.
Representatives of the companies consider that decision of the Commission assists in development of telecommunication sector in the country. During the meeting CRPS provided “Global Coline” with number capacity and non-geographical code 6041 of public adjoined network for the provision of services of fixed telephone connection. On February 25, 2009 CRPS Armenia allowed the companies “Bionet” and “Complex Dzoraghbyur” to take non-geographical codes 6029 and 6028 accordingly. By the decision of the Commission as of March 25, 2009 the company “Netsys” (6037) and “Crossnet” (6039) also received the codes. -0-
