YEREVAN, August 23. /ARKA/. OK RUSAL, the largest producer of aluminum in the world informs about the assignment of General Director of ARMENAL Vyacheslav Sinelnikov who earlier occupied the post of Production Director of SAYANAL.
Vyacheslav Sinelnikov has great experience in foil production. In 1993 he occupied various posts in the plant SAYANAL beginning from locksmith-mechanic up to production director.
ARMENAL was established in Yerevan in 2000 on the base of Kanaker aluminum factory and is one of the largest industrial companies of Armenia and the only producer of aluminum foil in Caucasus and Central Asia. RUSAL acquired ARMENAL in 2000 and jointly with the companies SAYANAL, “Ural foil” and “SAYAN foil” formed the Wrapping Department of the company. Today ARMENAL has about 700 employees.
RUSAL is the leader in the world aluminum sector. Its production is exported to the clients of 70 countries of the world. The company involves about 12% of world aluminum market and 15% of argil. The company has 76 000 employees. RUSAL operates in 19 countries of the world in 5 continents.
The company realizes its production mainly in the markets of Europe, North America, South-East Asia, Japan and Korea. Ordinary shares of RUSAL bargain in Honk-Kong stock exchange (trade code 486). Vyacheslav Sinelnikov was born in 1963 in Tajikistan. In 1985 he graduated from Tajik State University with specialty “Engineer-Geologist”. From 1985 to 1993 he worked as geologist. In 1993 he was hired by SAYANAL where he worked as locksmith-mechanic and section master till 1998. In future he became deputy head of production.
In 1999 he was assigned the head of rental department and in 2000 – Director of Melting-Rental Production. From 2005 to 2010 he worked as Production Director of SAYANAL. —0-
