Some 1704 commercial organizations and 7333 private entrepreneurs were registered in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010, National Statistical Service reports.

YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. Some 1704 commercial organizations and 7333 private entrepreneurs were registered in Armenia in Jan-Aug 2010, National Statistical Service reports.

Some 1636 of them are Ltd organizations and 58 closed joint stock companies.

According to the statistical report, Armenia had 62099 commercial organizations and 81228 private companies by September 1, 2010 against 60163 and 72291 respectively by the same date a year earlier.

Some 414 legal entities and 1360 individual entrepreneurs were dissolved over the period between January and August 2010.-0-
