Nagorno-Karabakh parliament approves 2011 budget
STEPANAKERT, December 23, /ARKA/. The Nagorno-Karabakh parliament has approved today its budget for 2011 that calls for 61.8 billion Drams in revenue and a 64.7 billion Dram spending, Novosti-Armenia correspondent in Stepanakert reported.
Earlier Nagorno-Karabakh finance minister Spartak Tevosian said budget revenues were expected to make 19.7% of the projected GDP, a little down from 20.4% projected for 2010.
According to him, 65.5% of projected budget receipts will be collected as taxes and state dues. Mandatory social payments will ensure 25.5% of all receipts. Officials grants will ensure 1.4% of receipts and other receipts will make 7.4%.
Spartak Tevosian said also that the spending for next year will increase by 3.8 billion Drams. The 2.9 billion Dram deficit will be financed by borrowings and other financial reserves. Nagorno-Karabakh government will receive a 35.3 billion Dram loan from the government of Armenia. --0-.
