President of Karabakh instructed not to allow increase of bread price

President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) instructed to return to former bread prices from February 9, said Prime Minister of NKR Ara Harutyunyan in the meeting with the heads of bread and flour production companies.
STEPANAKERT, February 9. /ARKA/. President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) instructed to return to former bread prices from February 9, said Prime Minister of NKR Ara Harutyunyan in the meeting with the heads of bread and flour production companies.

They discussed the situation in the bread market.

Harutyunyan said that population of NKR and the authorities are concerned by price increase of bread products and it should be prevented by the existing opportunities and mutually agreed actions.

After relevant calculations, maximum price of flour will be defined due to which the price increase of bread products will be prevented.

He said that before collection of cereal harvest, export of cereals will be prohibited from Artsakh.

He instructed NKR Minister of Agriculture to calculate the supply of cereals in the country which should be used for satisfaction of needs of internal market.

Ara Harutyunyan said that the government will have strict control over the sphere of bread production and will follow the prevention of price increase, maintenance of qualitative and quantitative indicators of bread products.
“The government will not support those entities who will not act according to the proposed rules. The bread price should not increase”, said Harutyunyan.

The head of the companies expressed their readiness to assist the government. In the nearest future control measures will be undertaken for the regulation of the market of other food products. –0-
