Advisor to parliament speaker resigns
YEREVAN, February 23, /ARKA/. Tatul Manaserian, an advisor to Armenian parliament speaker, said today he has tendered a resignation application. Speaking to journalists on the fringes of a round table organized by his Alternative think-tank to look into the current inflation trends, he explained his resignation by passing to ‘research work.’ He said the think-tank convened the round table to present some of its latest studies and the staff.
Asked to comment on media speculations that he had some disagreements with the parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamian Tatul Manaserian said there is a limited number of mass media outlets which spread such rumors to create an intrigue. He said his relations with the speaker ‘were civilized.’
‘In case of need the Alternative think tank is ready to provide recommendations and other consultative assistance to the parliament and the government,’ he said.
Tatul Manaserian appointed as advisor to parliament speaker in 2009. In 2003-2007 he was in the Armenian parliament. -0-
