In 2011 February the inflation in Armenia grew by 12.4% from a year earlier, while economic activity index grew by 1.4%, according to the latest data, unveiled by the country’s National Statistical Service.

YEREVAN, March 21, /ARKA/. In 2011 February the inflation in Armenia grew by 12.4% from a year earlier, while economic activity index grew by 1.4%, according to the latest data, unveiled by the country’s National Statistical Service.

It said the inflation in 2011 February rose by 1.9% from January while the economic activity index grew by 3.7%. The Armenian government has projected a 4% (±1.5%) inflation rate for 2011 and a 4.6%. GDP growth. -0-
