In 2010 Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) registered economic growth of 5.5% which is almost half as compared with 2009, said NKR Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister Spartak Tevosyan.
STEPANAKERT. April 27. /ARKA/. In 2010 Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) registered economic growth of 5.5% which is almost half as compared with 2009, said NKR Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister Spartak Tevosyan in the government meeting reporting about the implementation of state budget 2010.

Yesterday, NKR Government approved the implementation of state budget 2010.

The year 2010 was rather difficult for the economy of the country, recovering from global financial crisis.
Tevosyan informed that GDP of NKR was over 218 billion drams, own revenues increased by about 12% and equaled to 23 billion 807 million drams.

“In 2010, state budget expenditures were 62 billion 184.2 million drams with the deficit of 5 billion 254 million drams. The most important thing is that all priority programs were funded and money was not accumulated”, he said.

NKR Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan positively assessed financial and economic results and noted that sufficient tax entries and other indicators provide good opportunity for the provision of socio-economic development in 2011.

Report on the implementation of NKR state budget will be submitted to NKR National Assembly for discussion. –0--
