Volume of cargo transportation in SCR increased by 10.7% in the 1st quarter making 1434.0 thousand tons
YEREVAN, July 19. /ARKA/. Volume of cargo transportation in the 1st Q of 2011 was 1434.0 thousand drams which is by 10.7% more than the indicator of the same period of 2010.
In the first six months of 2011, actual volume of transported cargo exceeded the planned indicator amounted 1322.7 thousand tons by 8.4%.
In January-June 2011 volume of exported cargo was 194.4 thousand tons which is by 30.6% more than the planned 148.9 thousand tons and exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2010 by 23.3%.
Volume of imported cargo was 583.5 thousand tons which is by 0.1% low the planned indicator of 583.8 thousand tons. Volumes of imported cargo transportation reduced by 5.6% compared to 2010.
Internal cargo transportation was 656.1 thousand tons which is by 13.7% more the planned indicator of 577.1 thousand tons and exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2010 by 26.1%.
Increase of cargo transportation indicators was due to flexible tariff policy and permanent quality increase of the provided services.—0--
