JERMUK, October 10. /ARKA/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited on Monday the Armenian branch of hotel complex “Hayat” in Jermuk which is under construction.

Author of the hotel complex, Honored Architect of Armenia Narek Sargsyan said that total volume of investments for the construction of the hotel with spa-center is $15 million. Total construction space is 9 890 sq. meters.

“Construction of the hotel complex is implemented in the frames of the development program of the city Jermuk, according to the regulations of pre-election campaign of the President of Armenia on proportionate development of the regions of Armenia”, he said.

Sargsyan said that the construction has started in 2009 and it is envisaged to finish in 2013. Currently, the works of the frame of the building are coming to an end. Stone cladding of the building has already started and the roof works are planned to finish by the end of the year.

The hotel will be 4-5-storied with 84 rooms, including eight first-class rooms.

The area of spa center is located in the basement. There is a pool, sauna and sport hall. There will be also a medicinal area, including medicinal baths, shower, rooms for massage and beauty salons.

Sargsyan said that near the hotel “Hayat” it is planned to construct a new building of Jermuk Municipality and another hotel complex. There will be a light bridge between the buildings. –0--
