YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Armenia has imported some 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Iran and has exported 6.2 billion KWt-hour of electric energy to Iran in exchange for it since 2007, the year when the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline was opened and the gas-for-electricity program was launched, Armenian Energy and Natural Resources Minister Yervand Zakharyan said Friday at a news conference.
