ArmenTel Telecommunication Company is to apply a new billing system to mobile telecommunication, Ruslan Shiryaev, the company’s director for information technologies, said on Tuesday.

YEREVAN, January 29. /ARKA/. ArmenTel Telecommunication Company is to apply a new billing system to mobile telecommunication, Ruslan Shiryaev, the company’s director for information technologies, said on Tuesday.

He said the transition will be very transparent, but a slight delay in recording payments is still likely.

“To avoid inconveniences, we ask post-payment system subscribers to pay their bills in time”, the company representative said. He said that the transition won’t worsen.

Shiryaev said the system will offer some services to post-payment system subscribers. For example, it will be possible to pay bills by various means such as CASH IN cards.

It will also be possible to sent bills and details to subscribers through e-mail.

Shiryaev also said that after the new system introduction telephones, it will become possible to connect disconnected telephones immediately after bill payment.

“The post-payment system subscribers will become able to control expenses of every mobile number and set limit, if subscribers want. Nobody has done it before us”, he said.

ArmenTel is Russian Vympelcom’s (Bee Line trademark) daughter company.

100% of ArmenTel’s shares belong to Vympelcom. ArmenTel provides stationary and mobile telecommunication services.-0-
