Acting SCR director met with the employees of linear station “Yerevan”

Acting SCR (“South-Caucasian Railways”) Director Marat Khakov today met with the employees of linear station “Yerevan”, press-service of the company informs.
YEREVAN, January 25. /ARKA/. Acting SCR (“South-Caucasian Railways”) Director Marat Khakov today met with the employees of linear station “Yerevan”, press-service of the company informs.
“During such meetings we will assess the results of the company’s activity, informed the employees about the decisions of the company. The aim of our today’s meeting is the discussion of the works of the railway, determination of the main future tasks of the company, issues related to operations and distribution of financial resources”, said Khakov.
He said that the main task of the company for 2012 is the completion of the year with profit and noted that linear station “Yerevan” is the main station of SCR, which covers formerly part of the structure of the disbanded recently linear station “Abovyan”.
He emphasized the importance of the issue of using working resources, reminding that since December 2011 SCR acts under the Code of Corporate Behavior defining behavior norms of the employees, as well as Committee on Corporate Ethics considering cases of violation of the given Code.
In regard to transportation sizes through the station “Yerevan”, Khakov said that at present the technology of the station’s work is discussed which will be moved to full day regime, as well as the process of interrelation with the clients.
As for optimization of the expenses of the company, Khakov noted that it refers to the internal re-distributions and not the number of reduction of employees. In 2012 average monthly salary of SCR employees will increase from 143 thousand drams to 170 thousand.
Currently SCR conducts optimization of the company’s work, search of new transportation volumes, large-scale program for auxiliary-support activities, construction and repair of railway has been approved, the issue of construction of the new line Vanadzor-Fioletovo is being discussed which will assist in the creation of new working places.
SCR also considers the issue of modernization of the station Karmir Blur which has large prospects in the services of container transportation.
Similar meetings of SCR management and the staff took place in linear stations “Vanadzor”, “Sevan” and “Yerevan”, and on January 27 Khakov will meet with the employees of linear station “Gyumri”.
CJSC “South-Caucasus Railway” is a 100% subsidiary of OJSC “Russian Railways” implementing concession management of CJSC “Armenian Railways” according to the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. Term of the concession is 30 years with the right of extension for another 10 years. -- 0 -
