Armenia's domestic trade turnover in January-October this year totaled 4,990,023.3 million drams (at current prices), marking an 18.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.

YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. Armenia's domestic trade turnover in January-October this year totaled 4,990,023.3 million drams (at current prices), marking an 18.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.

Moreover, in October 2024, this figure totaled 571,561.5 million drams, reflecting a 13.7% increase compared to October 2023, and a 2.1% rise compared to September of the same year.

Of the total volume, wholesale trade turnover for the ten months amounted to 3,281,425.2 million drams (65.8% share, a 26.3% increase compared to the same period last year), retail trade turnover reached 1,512,130.2 million drams (30.3% share, an 8.5% increase), and automobile trade turnover stood at 196,467.9 million drams (3.9% share, a 6.3% decline).

In the structure of retail trade, shops account for 83.6% of total retail turnover, amounting to 1,263,911.7 million drams (a growth of 10.8%), consumer goods markets (3.6%) totaled 53,703.3 million drams (a 2.5% increase), kiosks (1.2%) reached 18,227.0 million drams (a 0.6% increase), agricultural produce markets (0.8%) amounted to 12,774.0 million drams (a decline of 6.1%), and other trade facilities (10.8%) totaled 3.1 million drams (a decline of 3.1%).
