Armenia's exports to Germany increased by 77% in the first eight months of 2025, reaching $71.4 million, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan reported on his Facebook page.
YEREVAN, October 29. /ARKA/. Armenia's exports to Germany increased by 77% in the first eight months of 2025, reaching $71.4 million, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan reported on his Facebook page.
"Moreover, more goods were exported to Germany in the first eight months of this year than in all of 2024. This is important in terms of ensuring the diversification of the Armenian economy," he noted.
According to Armstat, Armenia's exports to Germany in 2024 amounted to $63.6 million.
The minister announced that Armenia's investment opportunities will be discussed with 40 German businessmen on the sidelines of a meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.
According to Armstat, Armenia's foreign trade turnover with Germany for the first eight months of 2025 amounted to $297.3 million, a decline of 5.3%. While exports grew by 77.4% to $71.39 million, imports decreased by 17.4%, amounting to $225.9 million.-0-
