Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-February decreased by 52%, to $2.8 billion.

YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. According to preliminary statistics, the volume of foreign trade turnover in Armenia in January-February 2025 amounted to $2,785.8 million, which is 52% lower than the figure for the same period in 2024, the National Statistical Committee of Armenia reports.
At the same time, in February of this year, compared to February of last year, this figure decreased by 61%, and compared to January of the same year, it decreased by 3.4%. For the first two months of 2025, the volume of foreign trade turnover in dram equivalent amounted to 1,105.9 billion drams.
Exports from Armenia in January-February 2025 decreased by 59.7% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling $1,041.0 million. In February, exports declined by 67.7% year-on-year, but showed a 2.9% increase compared to January 2025. In dram equivalent, exports for January-February 2025 amounted to 413.2 billion drams.
Imports for the reporting period totaled $1,744.8 million, showing a decline of 45.8% compared to the same period in 2024. In February, imports decreased by 55.2% year-on-year and by 0.8% month-on-month. In dram equivalent, imports for the first two months of 2025 amounted to 692.7 billion drams. ($1 = 391.83 drams).
