YEREVAN, February 17. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, the government press office reported.

It said the two men attached importance the development of Armenian-Iraqi relations in various directions, including political and economic. In that regard, the parties emphasized the need to deepen trade and economic ties between the two countries, expand and strengthen cooperation of businesspersons.

An agreement was reached to organize a meeting of the Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission in the near future, during which further steps and joint programs will be outlined. The sides also highlighted mutually beneficial cooperation on international platforms. -0-
