Yerevan has been named one of the top five foreign cities popular with Russians for the New Year's holiday, TASS reports, citing a study by the travel planning service OneTwoTrip.

Istanbul topped the list of foreign cities, accounting for 8.6% of total hotel bookings abroad. Russians will also vacation in Dubai (3.9%), Minsk (3.8%), Yerevan (2.7%), and Paris (2.5%). Experts noted that the share of international destinations has increased this year, reaching 35%. The remaining 65% of travelers will stay in their own countries.
