Armenia boasted lowest inflation rate in 2015 August

Armenia boasted the lowest inflation rate in 2015 August among its partner countries making the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), with consumer prices rising 3.6% from 2014 August, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the executive body of EEU, says in a statement posted on its official website.

YEREVAN, October 6. / ARKA /. Armenia boasted the lowest inflation rate in 2015 August among its partner countries making the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), with consumer prices rising 3.6% from 2014 August, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the executive body of EEU, says in a statement posted on its official website.
Consumer prices for goods and services across the EEU in August 2015 were 13.9% higher from August 2014, it said.
"In August of 2015 the growth rate of consumer prices for goods and services in EEU were higher than last year," according to the statement.
Armenia was followed by Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with 3.8% and 5.8% inflation rates respectively. Consumer prices in Belarus increased by 11.8% and in Russia by 15.8%. - 0-
