In the first quarter of 2023 Armenian tax authorities collected 14 billion drams more in taxes than planned, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the government on Thursday.

YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. In the first quarter of 2023 Armenian tax authorities collected 14 billion drams more in taxes than planned, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the government on Thursday.

Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) said earlier it had collected a total of 461.4 billion drams in taxes and state duties in January-March 2023, which is 60.8 billion drams or 15.2% more than the amount collected in the same period of 2022.

Pashinyan added today that 93.5 billion drams worth VAT were refunded to taxpayers, which is 82% or 42.2 billion more than in 2022.

Pashinyan said also that 564 billion drams worth cash register receipts were printed in the first quarter, which is 48.8 billion drams more than in the same period of 2022. ($1 - 388.32 drams). --0--
