Armenia’s foreign trade in 9 months of 2021 exceeds $5.7 billion – National Statistical Committee

Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in the first nine months of 2021 amounted to $5,723.4 billion, an increase of 11.2% compared to the same time span of 2020, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today.

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in the first nine months of 2021 amounted to $5,723.4 billion, an increase of 11.2% compared to the same time span of 2020, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today.

According to it, compared to August 2020, the foreign trade was up 7.8%, and compared to August 2021 – up 1.3%. In Armenian national currency, the January-September 2021 foreign trade turnover was worth 2.919.9 trillion drams.

Armenian exports in January-September 2021 compared to January-September 2020 increased by 17.2%, amounting to $2,142.7 billion. In dram equivalent, exports amounted to 1.094 trillion drams.

Imports in the reporting period amounted to $3,580.7 billion, recording an increase of 9.4% compared to January-September 2020. In dram equivalent, imports in January-September 2021 were worth 1.825.9 trillion drams. ($1 - 476.48 drams) - 0--
