Armenia's industrial output in January-February 2022 amounted to over 365 billion drams (in current prices), increasing by 9.7% compared to the same period of 2021, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

YEREVAN, April 6. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in January-February 2022 amounted to over 365 billion drams (in current prices), increasing by 9.7% compared to the same period of 2021, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

The industrial output in February 2022 totaled about 187.6 billion drams, which was 1.4% up from January, 2022, and up 3.7% from February, 2021.

In 2 months of 2022, the mining industry's output amounted to about 100.4 billion drams (3.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2021); the processing industry's output upped 16.7% to 195.5 billion drams.

Production and distribution of electricity, natural gas, steam and purified air amounted to 65.5 billion drams (8.8% growth), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling grew by 7.4% to about 3.9 billion drams. ($1 - 481.59 drams). -0-
