Armenian and Russian prime ministers discussed enhancing bilateral ties

Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan today to discuss Russian-Armenian relations and the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, RIA Novosti reported citing Russian government’s official website.

YEREVAN, July 1. / ARKA /. Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan today to discuss Russian-Armenian relations and the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, RIA Novosti reported citing Russian government’s official website. It said the telephone conversation was initiated by the Armenian side.
"Dmitry Medvedev and Hovik Abrahamyan noted the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields," a statement on the website said.
The two men were said to have also discussed the results of the June 25-26 session of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Yerevan.-0-
