Armenian government apparatus authorized to form common information space with customs union

Armenian government apparatus has been authorized to deal with formation of a common information space with the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, economy minister Vahram Avanesyan said today.

YEREVAN, February 20. / ARKA /. Armenian government apparatus has been authorized to deal with formation of a common information space with the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, economy minister Vahram Avanesyan said today.
The government has also authorized Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) to work towards increasing the effectiveness of information exchange between customs authorities of the trade bloc.
Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Vakhtang Mirumyan said to a cabinet session that this will allow preventing violations in the customs area.
Armenian ministry of energy and natural resources has been authorized to deal with the Eurasian Economic Commission in related issues. The government has also authorized Electricity System Operator cjsc to work for ensuring the availability of services of natural monopolies in the electric field with Customs Union member countries.
The government has also decided today to release 4 million drams to the State Food Safety Service, an affiliation of the ministry of agriculture, to carry out a number of sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary measures stemming from Armenia’s accession "roadmap."
The Armenian government has also approved a proposal to conclude agreements with CIS member countries on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters . -0-
