Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan received Monday World Bank Regional Director for South Caucasus Asad Alam, the government press service reported.

YEREVAN, March 20, /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan received Monday World Bank Regional Director for South Caucasus Asad Alam, the government press service reported.
It said Tigran Sargsyan thanked Asad Alam for support to the Regulatory Guillotine fast reform program and Finance Ministry’s capacity building project, for the development of Armenia‘s financial market, as well as for assisting the government with the fight against money laundering.
The parties went on to discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation-related issues, including the pension and food safety reforms. They touched upon the government’s new export-oriented industrial policy and the steps scheduled in the social and healthcare spheres.
In conclusion, Tigran Sargsyan and Asad Alam discussed the current economic situation and the forecast of developments in Armenia and the Eurozone. -0-
