The bonus pool of Armenia's State Revenue Committee will be increased by 800 million drams in 2020 to reach 5.8 billion drams, the head of the agency David Ananyan said on Monday.
YEREVAN, November 4, /ARKA/. The bonus pool of Armenia's State Revenue Committee will be increased by 800 million drams in 2020 to reach 5.8 billion drams, the head of the agency David Ananyan said on Monday.
Ananyan said the decision is aimed at preventing the skilled personnel from quitting because of the 'current' size of salaries.
'We have a new personnel policy: we hire a new person, we make him the right person for us, but it takes 3-4 years. In addition, there is always a risk that he/she may leave for the private sector, but until that happens, we should have time to prepare new staff and get the maximum," he said during a parliamentary discussion of the draft state budget for 2020.
Ananyan added that the change of generations not only in the State Revenue Committee, but also across the entire state governance system is inevitable. "It is not only inevitable, but also a guarantee of future success," he said.
As an example, he referred to the State Revenue Committee, saying that about 800 people quit it in 2019 for one reason or another. At the same time, about 40% less people were hired over the same period. ($ 1 - 476.46 dram) -0-
