Armenia’s freight traffic less pipelines grew 2.1% in Jan-Oct 2013, compared with the same period a year before, while the CIS countries’ average growth stood at 2.1%, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s freight traffic less pipelines grew 2.1% in Jan-Oct 2013, compared with the same period a year before, while the CIS countries’ average growth stood at 2.1%, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.
Moldova, with its 21.2% year-on-year growth in Jan-Oct 2013, is topping the CIS ranking.
Kazakhstan’s freight traffic, excluding pipelines, grew 8.6% in Jan-Oct 2013, compared with the same period a year earlier.
Turkmenistan’s freight traffic, including pipelines, grew 7.3% in Jan-Sept 2013 and Kyrgyzstan’s 4.7%, Uzbekistan’s, including pipelines, 4.4% in Jan-Sept, Azerbaijan’s 4.3% and Tajikistan’s 1.9%.
Belarus faced 6.2% decline, Ukraine 3.4% and Russia 2.2%. ----0----
