Consumer prices in Armenia in January-February 2021 grew by 4.9% compared to the same period in 2020, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia in January-February 2021 grew by 4.9% compared to the same period in 2020, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

Consumer prices in February 2021 increased by 0.6% compared to January 2021, and by 5.3% compared to February 2020.

According to the NSC, prices for industrial goods in January-February 2021 increased by 6.2% compared to January-February 2020. In February 2021 they were up 0.5% from January 2021 and up 7% from February 2020.

Electricity production in Armenia decreased by 5.8% in January-February 2021 from the same period of time in 202 to 1,376.8 billion kWh and economic activity dropped by 6.7%. ($1 - 528.32 drams) - 0--
