Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January 2025 amounted to 379,155.1 million drams (at current prices), marking an increase of 9.9% compared to January 2024 and a decrease of 51.8% compared to December 2024, according to the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

YEREVAN, March 10. /ARKA/. Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January 2025 amounted to 379,155.1 million drams (at current prices), marking an increase of 9.9% compared to January 2024 and a decrease of 51.8% compared to December 2024, according to the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Of the total volume, wholesale trade turnover for the reporting period amounted to 243,172.1 million drams (accounting for 64.1%, with a growth of 12.5% compared to the same period last year), retail trade turnover reached 121,927.8 million drams (accounting for 32.2%, with a growth of 4.7%), and car trade turnover was 14,055.2 million drams (accounting for 3.7%, with a growth of 14.6%).

In the structure of retail trade, the share of shops in the total retail turnover was 81.1% (amounting to 98,932.0 million drams, with a growth of 5.4%), consumer goods markets accounted for 4.3% (5,194.4 million drams, with a growth of 2.8%), kiosks made up 1.6% (1,889.8 million drams, with a growth of 4.1%), agricultural markets accounted for 1% (1,254.3 million drams, with a growth of 18%), and other trade facilities represented 12% (14,657.3 million drams, with a growth of 0.3%).
