Armenia's exports to China totaled $170 million in 2014, and there is still room for building up them, Vazgen Safaryan, head of the Union of Domestic Commodity Producers of Armenia, said on Friday.

YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. Armenia's exports to China totaled $170 million in 2014, and there is still room for building up them, Vazgen Safaryan, head of the Union of Domestic Commodity Producers of Armenia, said on Friday.
He said China's imports in Armenia totaled $410 million, which shows an opportunity for development of substantial trade relations.
In his words, the Chinese market has tremendous prospects for selling Armenian goods, and these chances grow given the president's latest arrangements.
«Demand for our agricultural products are especially high at Chinese market,» Safaryan said.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is now in China for a five-day state visit.
More than ten agreements have been signed since he arrived in Beijing on Tuesday.
The agreements imply cooperation in various areas, including legal, trade, economic, technical, customs, education and tourism--0----
