Non-food prices in Armenia in March rose by 0.8%

Non-food prices in March 2013 increased by 0.8% month-on-month, largely due to an increase in the prices of detergents by 0.8%, horticultural products – by 0.9%, cosmetics – by 1.3%, personal goods and footwear – by 1.4% 3.4% respectively, according to the latest numbers unveiled today by the National Statistical Service.

YEREVAN, March 29. / ARKA /. Non-food prices in March 2013 increased by 0.8% month-on-month, largely due to an increase in the prices of detergents by 0.8%, horticultural products – by 0.9%, cosmetics – by 1.3%, personal goods and footwear – by 1.4% 3.4% respectively, according to the latest numbers unveiled today by the National Statistical Service.
Simultaneously, the price of gold products declined by 3.6%, that of recreational goods – by 2.7%, that of fuel – by 0.7%, that of consumer electronics – by 0.2%, and the price of cooking utensils – by 0.1%.
In five cities non-food prices rose by an average of 0.1-1.4%. In the capital Yerevan they grew by 1.4%. -0-
