Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan introduced today the newly appointed minister of agriculture Ignaty Arakelyan to the ministry’s staff.

YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan introduced today the newly appointed minister of agriculture Ignaty Arakelyan to the ministry’s staff. He also thanked the ex-minister Sergo Karapetyan, expressing confidence that he will use his experience and skills in the development of this sector.
The prime minister described the new minister as a person with rich professional experience and excellent knowledge of the topic.
"We need to find out the obstacles hindering the development of agricultural business. We should be open and accessible both to farmers and entrepreneurs," said Karapetyan. He also noted that farmers and businessmen should regard the ministry as the defender of their interests and the “ombudsman" of agriculture-0-
