YEREVAN, March 14. /ARКА/. Over the next three years, growth in Georgia and Armenia will almost halve, from 9.4% and 8.8%, respectively, in 2022-24, but will remain sustainable, according to a commentary by S&P Global Ratings analysts, as reported by FrankMedia.

"Our current economic growth forecasts already reflect some normalization of growth from the 2022 highs. We expect real GDP growth in the Caucasus and Central Asia to slow in 2025-27 compared to 2022-24, as the temporary surge in trade, remittances, and capital inflows from Russia stabilizes," the commentary says.

Armenia's economic growth is projected at 5.1% in the 2025 state budget. According to Armstat, economic activity grew by 7.1% in January. According to the Central Bank, Armenia's GDP growth is expected to be within 7.1-4.8% by the end of 2025я -0-
