Sanasaryan: $1.2 million from skim money already transferred to government budget in Armenia

The Armenian State Control Service’s inspections have already brought $1.2 million to the government budget, David Sanasaryan, the head of the service, told journalists on Monday.

YEREVAN, November 20. /ARKA/. The Armenian State Control Service’s inspections have already brought $1.2 million to the government budget, David Sanasaryan, the head of the service, told journalists on Monday.
In his words, this revenue came from the disclosure of some companies’ skim money.
Inspections at Armenian National Agrarian University have resulted in revelation of AMD 350 million.
The schedule for transferring this money to the government budget has been set, and AMD 50 million has been sent to the budget. The remaining money will be transferred in the beginning of the next year.
Sanasaryna also said that things in the Yerevan State University two time worse. The university is under intense scrutiny now.
“Upon completion of the scrutiny, we will present the results to the rector, who will voice his opinion about the illegalities found,” he said. “Both opinions will be presented to the prime minister for consideration, and after discussing them with him we will make a decision whether to send the information to law enforcement agencies or not.” ($1 – AMD 485.09). -0--
