YEREVAN, November 14. /ARКА/. On Friday, Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council, discussed unblocking regional communications with Gert-Jan Koopman, Secretary General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy.

During the telephone call, the two men emphasized the need to expand economic and transport routes between the European Union, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia, the press service of the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council reported.

In this context, the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative presented by the Armenian government was highlighted, and prospects for deepening cooperation between Armenia and the European Union within the framework of this project were discussed.-0-
