Some 10.3 billion drams worth tobacco products were produced in Armenia in the first two months of 2014, a 34.9 % increase when compared to the same period in 2013, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

YEREVAN, April 3. / ARKA /. Some 10.3 billion drams worth tobacco products were produced in Armenia in the first two months of 2014, a 34.9 % increase when compared to the same period in 2013, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

Tobacco products in January- February 2014 constituted approximately 10.4 % of the output of the total manufacturing industries.

According to the statistics, in real terms some 1.976.7 billion pieces of cigarettes were produced in January and February, which was s 46.8 % more than in January- February 2013. (1-413.98 drams). -0-
