USDA official awarded gold medal of Armenian agriculture ministry

Tim Grosser, the US Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA / NIFA) program leader, was awarded today the Gold Medal of Armenia’s ministry of agriculture.

YEREVAN, July 24. / ARKA /. Tim Grosser, the US Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA / NIFA) program leader, was awarded today the Gold Medal of Armenia’s ministry of agriculture.
The ministry said in a press release that Tim Grosser is awarded for his exceptional contribution to the development of agriculture in Armenia. The medal was handed to him by minister Sergo Karapetyan during a visit to the United States.
After the awarding ceremony the two men had an exchange of ideas on joint projects implemented in Armenia with the support of USDA and the prospects for further cooperation.
"For 13 years you have coordinated USDA programs in Armenia which were instrumental for our agricultural industry having created important structures and showing substantial support to the public and private sectors,’ Karapetyan is quoted as saying in the press release.-0-
