Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University opened an eight-day Summer School on July 1 under motto “Knowledge is Great Power”.
YEREVAN, July 2. /ARKA/. Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University opened an eight-day Summer School on July 1 under motto “Knowledge is Great Power”.
Armen Darbinyan, the university rector, said Monday this initiative is the direct continuation of the Summer School opened in 2006 in Tbilisi with Moscow State Linguistic University’s and Georgian Caucasian University’s efforts and thanks to cooperation with Russian RIA Novosti News Agency.
Darbinyan said the Summer School will give Georgian, Russian and Armenian students the opportunity to communicate with each other.
Meetings and discussions with leading Armenian politicians and scientists are planned to be held as part of the program. The students also will visit historical and Christian centers of Armenia. M.V.-0---
