Armenian Telecommunications Company “ArmenTel” apologized to its subscribers for the lineout in the center of Yerevan, the Company’s press service reported.
YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Telecommunications Company “ArmenTel” apologized to its subscribers for the lineout in the center of Yerevan.
“Today there was a software breakdown in the digital station serving the center of Yerevan as a result of which a number of automatic telephone exchanges in Yerevan municipal community “Kentron” (“Center”) failed working,” the Company’s press service reported.
“In 14.00 the work of the station was fully rehabilitated. We apologize to our subscribers for the trouble,” the Company said.
“ArmenTel” Telecommunications Company is the monopolist landline telephone network and one of the two mobile operators in Armenia.
The Russian company “VympelCom” (BeeLine brand) holds 100% of shares.
At the end of 2006, the Company had 452ths mobile subscribers and 608.5ths landline telephone subscribers. L.M. –0--
