Already 11 killed by H1N1 virus in Armenia

The number of people killed by H1N1 virus (‘swine flu’) in Armenia has reached 11.

YEREVAN, January 14. /ARKA/. The number of people killed by H1N1 virus (‘swine flu’) in Armenia has reached 11. 

“Yesterday Astghik Manvelyan, 57, died in Erebuni Medical Center from complications caused by H1N1 virus,” Shushan Hunanyan, the hospital spokesperson, told Novosti-Armenia. 

Hunanyan said that the woman was brought to the hospital on January 11 and was tested positive for H1N1 and that she suffered from diabetes.

According to the latest official reports, some 800 flu and acute respiratory disease cases were registered in the country. ---0---
