YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. The body of contract serviceman Artak Avalyan (born in 1985) with a gunshot wound was found at a military post on May 7 at around 14:00, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

It said an investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

"The Defense Ministry expressed its condolences and support to the family members, relatives and fellow soldiers of the dead serviceman," the ministry said. -0-
