Families of citizens, killed in bus crash will receive one million drams of assistance

The families of 9 Armenian citizens, who were killed in a bus crash earlier this month near the Russian city of Tula, will receive more than one million drams of assistance, transport and communications minister Gagik Beglaryan said today.

YEREVAN, November 9. / ARKA /. The families of 9 Armenian citizens, who were killed in a bus crash earlier this month near the Russian city of Tula, will receive more than one million drams of assistance, transport and communications minister Gagik Beglaryan said today.
Speaking to reporters he said it was a preliminary figure and the exact figure will be known after the meeting of a special government commission that was supposed to meet today.
He said the government will assume also all other costs relating to the consequences of the accident. He said 11 passengers injured in the crash, one of whom in serious condition are still in Russia.
According to Russian news reports, nine people have died and 42 others were injured when a bus carrying Armenian nationals overturned in central Russia on late November 2. The bus was traveling to the Armenian capital, Yerevan, from Moscow with 59 passengers on board when the accident occurred. -0-
