Armenia’s investigative committee has released the results of the ballistic tests as part of the criminal case on Giumry family killing.

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. Armenia’s investigative committee has released the results of the ballistic tests as part of the criminal case on Giumry family killing. 

On January 12, a family of six was killed in Giumry, near the Russian military base N 102. Six-month old child succumbed to severe wounds in a hospital a week after the murder. Russian soldier Valery Permyakov suspected of the crime was detained and admitted guilt. 

According to experts, the bullets and the casings found at the crime scene were from AKS-74 owned by the suspect Valery Permyakov and found at the scene, says the official facebook page of the investigative committee, as cited by Novosti-Armenia. 

In particular, the test showed 5.45mm AKS-74 found at the scene was fully functioning and was manufactured in a factory in 1981. 

The test also found the spent bullet casings were part of 5.45mm (5.45 * 39) caliber bullets were released from the mentioned AKS-74. –0--
