Two Armenians were killed in an artillery fire in Nor Giugh quarter of Syrian Aleppo, the press office of the Armenian revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutiun reported.

Bodies of Nvard Margeyan and her son Harut Margeyan were retrieved from the ruins of the house.
Syrian Armenian community is among mightiest Armenian communities in the world. Most of the Syrian Armenians live in Aleppo (more than 60,000 people), Damascus, Latakia and other cities. The aggravated political and military situation made many Armenians fleet to their historical homeland. According to some sources, about 8,000 Syrian Armenians applied for Armenian citizenship in 2011-2012, of them about 3,000 have already become citizens of Armenia. --0-
