Two Armenians killed in road accident in Georgia

Two Armenian citizens were killed and another three received injuries in a car accident in the neighboring Georgia, the Armenian embassy in Tbilisi said.

YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. Two Armenian citizens were killed and another three received injuries in a car accident in the neighboring Georgia, the Armenian embassy in Tbilisi said.  It said the accident occurred in the early hours of September 7 on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars road when a Mercedes car crashed into a bus transporting passengers from Armenia to Russia.

The embassy said the injured Armenians were taken to the medical center of Mtskheta in Georgia.

"The Armenian embassy is in constant contact with the local authorities. Additional information will be provided later. We express our deep sympathy to family members and relatives of the killed people and wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the embassy said in a statement. -0-
